Lawn Mowers

Winnipeggers can take advantage of the FREE "Giveaway Weekends" to give away reusable unwanted items like lawn mowers, snow throwers etc. Please visit winnipeg.ca for further details.

 

Through the Home Appliance Retirement Program (HARP), Winnipeggers can permanently retire their unwanted, energy inefficient lawn mowers in a convenient and environmentally safe manner by simply calling the HARP Hotline at 257-1212

 

Lawn Fertilizers

Homeowners can take their leftover lawn fertilizers to Miller Environmental Corporation for free disposal.

Leaves

In autumn, you can recycle your leaves by dropping them off at any leaf it with us depot.

 

LEDs

Please recycle your LED Christmas lights at your nearest Home Depot store.

To donate lighting fixtures please contact the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store at 204-233-5160.

 

Logs & Stumps

Logs and stumps are not collected with regular garbage. Please take it to the Brady Road landfill. Information on Brady Road landfill is also available by calling the recycling and garbage information line at 986-8888.

 

Lumber

To donate lumber (4 feet & over) please contact the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store at 204-233-5160.
