I Want to Conserve Water

Tips:

þ      The Government of Manitoba has compiled a list of measures you can take to reduce water use and save on water bills.

þ      According to Environment Canada, the average household uses water in the following fashion:

Toilet flushing - 30%
Showers and baths - 35%
Laundry - 20%
Kitchen and Drinking - 10%
Cleaning - 5%

þ      So washrooms account for nearly two-thirds of water used! The more water we all save, the lower our water bills are, and the greater the benefit to the environment. These are two great incentives that will make a difference to all of us right away.
