Water and Waste Water
Reducing water consumption affects both the water supply source and the water body receiving the resulting wastewater. Plants and animals that live in the water may be negatively affected when large amounts of water are withdrawn on a continuous basis, changing the natural water flow. Businesses can contribute to the solution. Manitoba Conservation is targets this sector, and will provide support to activities relating to water efficiency.

Manitoba Water Soft Paths
The emerging concept of water soft paths is about changing the way we use water. A water soft path approach involves envisioning a future state of water sustainability, and designing a feasible policy pathway to achieve that state. The water soft path is characterized by wide use of diverse, often decentralized systems.
